Young soprano singer becomes Ambassador

The Children’s Air Ambulance is pleased to welcome Katie Marshall aboard as our new Ambassador.

Katie is a 14 year old soprano singer from the Midlands who is already becoming a big name in classical music. From singing in the final of ‘The Next Brit Thing’ to being the youngest ever singer to be awarded the prestigious ‘Sheila Armstrong Award’ for most promising singer at Farnham festival, Katie has won a wide range of awards and competitions for her voice.

She regularly sings for us at charity events to help fundraise, and has even sung in front of another of our Ambassadors, Brian May.

To listen to Katie’s amazing voice, watch below.

Katie said: “I heard that there was now a Children’s Air Ambulance and felt that I could help other children by volunteering my time as a singer to help raise funds at charity events. I contacted the air ambulance and offered my help through my singing to help raise the funds needed to continue the amazing work they do.”
