Window of opportunity for creatives

Students and aspiring creative people with an eye for design are being invited to enter a competition to create an eye-catching shop window display in our Children’s Air Ambulance shops.

The Children’s Air Ambulance shops in High Barnet, Kings Heath, Solihull, Rugeley and West Bridgford are hosting the competition as part of our Handbag Amnesty which encourages people to donate unwanted handbags to the charity shop through autumn.

Five lucky winners will be given the chance to create their own unique window displays for shoppers and passers by to admire, using the donated handbags.

We can’t wait to see all the creative ideas from students and aspiring fashionistas in the area. This is no easy task, competition entrants will have to think of something creative and original to make the window really stand out! The winning design will not only take pride of place on the high street, but also help us raise vital funds for critically ill children. Everyone can get involved, whether that’s submitting a window design or simply donating a handbag this Autumn.

To enter the competition, creative people must submit a creative sketch, design or drawing of how they would present the handbag amnesty window display, alongside their name, contact details and why they would love this special opportunity.

The competition closes on 25th October 2015 and the winner will be announced on Monday 27th October. Applicants must be free to design the window display on Sunday 1st November. To enter the competition, submit your idea to TCAAhandbagcomp@onlybeattie.com

To donate a handbag, visit your local store. Stores are located in High Barnet, Kings Heath, Solihull, Rugeley and West Bridgford.
