Fashion Show Raises Over £1,200 for Children’s Air Ambulance

The Children’s Air Ambulance (TCAA) Stoke Newington store held a Fashion Show on Friday 7th December to showcase some of the exquisite designer and premium high-end fashion stock they have instore.

The fashion show was an exclusive invitation to 25 VIP guests who saw designer brands showcased and modelled from various designers, Gucci, D&G, Michael Kors, and many other premium high street brands, all brand new, donated by the charities’ local supporters.

The store then opened its doors from 8pm to 9pm where the general public and community were encouraged to go along to look and purchase the designer and premium items from the fashion show. It was also an opportunity for people to go along and understand the lifesaving work the Children’s air ambulance service provide and how valuable local support is.

Aisha Sheikh, Store Manager commented: “To me fashion has always been an important part of how people define themselves. This debut fall fashion show has been organised to raise awareness in our local community around the amazing work the Children’s Air Ambulance do. It’s also an occasion for us to express undying gratitude to our customers and donors who generously donated their previously valued designer wear to our store, a get together under one roof to celebrate sustainable fashion and raise money and awareness for Children’s air ambulance.”

The evening was fantastic and full of energy, and many items worn by the models sold straight away. The dedicated team at Stoke Newington Children’s Air Ambulance Store sold many clothes and accessories in just one hour, raising £1,058 and a further £168 was raised from donations.

With your support, we’ll be proud to see more little patients like these grow up.
