When Jack was just four weeks old, we flew him from the Isle of Wight to Southampton for lifesaving heart surgery. For Jack our flight was the difference between life and death – his heart stopped just before he went into surgery.
Thanks to supporters like you who make our service possible, our pilots flew Jack to safety in just eight minutes. Little Jack is nearly three years old now and is a cheery, cheeky young man who is into everything.
“I can’t find the words for how grateful I am to the Children’s Air Ambulance for flying Jack. Everything could have been very different without them. That’s why I decided to become a volunteer – so I could give back to the charity that helped save my son’s life.”
Abi, Jack’s mum
