October Saw our first TV ad go on air!

Voiced by actor David Tennant, the ad helped us spread the word about the Children’s Air Ambulance and encourage people to support this lifesaving service.

In 2015, we published our report Flying to Save Young Lives that looks at the future need for emergency paediatric and neonatal transfer by helicopter.

Wales & West Acute Transport for Children(WATCH) became the 7th NHS clinical partner team to start using the Children’s Air Ambulance, meaning we can reach out to even more children who need us.

Lift Off

After a lot of hard work, dedication and passion we began to transfer specialist paediatric teams to treat seriously ill children. This national service is the first and only dedicated helicopter transfer service for critically ill children – a flying intensive care unit.

The service began to transfer specialist paediatric teams to treat seriously ill children in December.
