Caterham raise £7,000 in memory
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) are saying a huge thank you to Caterham Motorsports after they raised an incredible £7,000 in memory of one of their drivers.
DLRAA went out to the emergency in March after Pete Fortune, their driver, suffered a cardiac arrest while at Donington. Sadly, despite the best efforts of the air ambulance crew and other medical services, Pete passed away. Caterham Motorsports decided to raise money for the air ambulance service that came to his aid in his memory.
They raised an amazing £7,000 – enough for four missions, and over 10 times more than their original target of £500.

From everyone at DLRAA, our deepest sympathies to his family, and our thanks for raising so much money to keep our vital services flying.
