Chatsworth Horse Trials raises £3,166
Derbyshire, Leicestershire & Rutland Air Ambulance (DLRAA) are saying a huge thank you to everyone at the Chatsworth Horse Trials, as well as the Trials themselves, after fundraising at the event raised a grand total of £3,166.
Chatsworth Horse Trials nominated DLRAA as their chosen charity earlier this year, and DLRAA took to the event with buckets, ICE cards and volunteers to raise money and spread the word about the work of our air ambulance.
DLRAA would particularly like to thank everyone who helped them raise money on the day. UK Rescue Bears, a display team of Newfoundland dogs, offered rides for children and rescue demonstrations, raising a total of £216.30. Have-a-go Dog Agility invited event-goers to “have a go” at their course with their own pets and make a donation, and raised £493.80.
The Chatsworth shuttle buggies that took people from the car park to the event raised £333.71, while a painting raffle of a donated Tania Still painting raised £427.
Donations to DLRAA’s fundraising buckets and stalls raised an amazing £1,653.40 – just under enough for a whole mission.
Huge thanks from everyone here at DLRAA to Chatsworth Horse Trials for their support of our lifesaving charity, and thank you to everyone who helped out or donated.
