Marco Pierre White launch supports DLRAA
The team from BEST WESTERN PREMIER Yew Lodge Hotel in Kegworth visited the DLRAA airbase this week.
The hotel has chosen DLRAA as their local charity partner and have recently launched a new Marco Pierre White New York Italian restaurant on site. The launch event acted as the first fundraiser of the partnership and a fantastic £400 was raised on the evening.
Jade Jones, sales manager from BEST WESTERN PREMIER Yew Lodge Hotel commented “We are delighted to have supported such a worthy cause with the launch of our Marco Pierre White New York Italian restaurant and will continue to raise as much money as possible for The Air Ambulance Service We raised £400 when Marco came to visit Kegworth by selling signed books and through the generosity of our guests. We hope this can really make a difference and help keep our Air Ambulance in the sky. Being a hotel in the centre of the East Midlands we are only too aware of the importance of the service and the peace of mind it offers.”
Sophie Burt, national partnership manager for DLRAA added “We are really pleased to be working with the team at Yew Lodge and very much appreciate their support. This event is a great start to their fundraising, I was also lucky enough to attend on the evening and meet the man himself!”
