Our Thank Yous – April

We’ve seen some amazing supporter for TCAA this month, so here’s a couple of thank you’s for all the efforts we’ve seen.

Edward Road Group

This amazing group of young adults have taken TCAA to their hearts are part of the King Edward Road Group and live within a fabulous community who have really rallied round to help support their efforts.  They held a coffee morning on Saturday, 6th April 2019 and invited their friends and neighbours and local supermarkets who were all really generous and donated items for their tombola and, of course, cakes were baked. This incredible group raised an amazing £320.00 which is just brilliant and will go to helping us continue our services.

Lucy Barker and mum, Penny

After hearing all about the Children’s Air Ambulance at school Lucy really wanted to do something to help.  So, she put her thinking cap on and, with the help of her mum, they decided to hold a cake sale on the lane where they live.  They had to be inventive as they live in the middle of nowhere, so Lucy designed and created her own banner and popped on her pink earmuffs! Well, it did the trick as cars were stopping to buy the delicious cakes in their droves and Lucy managed to raise an amazing £181.00. Thank you so much for Lucy, her mum and everyone who helped this little girl achieve an amazing amount of money.

Lucy is also going to join #TheCrew and is already thinking of what she can do next!
