Thank You Fireworks Champions
Mat Lawrence, managing director of Daventry based MLE Pyrotechnics Limited, one of the leading firework companies in the Industry, chose to support the Children’s Air Ambulance as their official charity for their 2015 fireworks displays.
The charity was supported at MLE’s five Firework Champions events held throughout the summer at Newby Hall, Stanford Hall, Belvoir Castle, Capesthorne Hall and Eastnor Castle.
Richard Durham and Heather Burton, volunteers for the Children’s Air Ambulance, attended each event along with Teddy Paramedic, collecting money from the fantastic audience and teams. They were helped by other volunteers from the charity at two events where Sytner BMW kindly donated cars for a weekend as raffle prizes.
Mat Lawrence visited the Children’s Air Ambulance base to hand over a cheque for £6,050, the fantastic amount raised at the events, which included donations from MLE, FlySnap, Sound4Hire, Firework Crazy and Illusion Fireworks.
Firework Champions will be back in 2016 and will again be supporting the Children’s Air Ambulance. Fantastic family evenings set in the grounds of a stunning stately homes and castles with music/interviews before a splendid evening of displays set to music.
