If you’re a parent you’ll know how strong love for your children is. So imagine how you’d feel, knowing your child may die without urgent help, but you are miles away from the medical team and treatment that could save them?
There is only one Children’s Air Ambulance in the UK and we need your help if we are to keep flying. Please don’t delay and give what you can today.
For hundreds of children across the UK who are fighting for their lives, a transfer by helicopter into the hands of a specialist doctor could be their only hope of survival. That is why the Children’s Air Ambulance exists. When everything seems hopeless, our helicopter brings intensive care in the air, and gives these children a fighting chance.
“Some people say that superheroes live in the hearts of children fighting big battles. After meeting a few little patients here, I could not agree more. I hope that with your help, we will see many more of these little fighters grow up.”
– Jayne Machin, Operations Support Officer
Jack’s heart stopped just before his open heart surgery – if he’d still been on the road, he wouldn’t have made it.
Alfie was rushed to A&E struggling to breathe – he needed specialist paediatric intensive care fast.
Declan reacted violently to an antibiotic – he needed paediatric intensive care, a burns unit, a dermatologist and specialist eye care.
No one could put a price on a child’s life, each is unique and precious. Your gift could pay for oxygen to help a critically ill child breathe in flight, for the fuel to fly the helicopter or for vital medical equipment.
We do not receive any government funding. Only with your donations can we fly the children who need us.
