100 children transported!

We’re celebrating – and for a very special reason. On Friday 24th October, we reached a magnificent milestone – we provided our vital life-saving services to our 100th young patient.

100 children helped is a huge achievement. The support we can provide for children like Alex and Jack can be the difference between life and death.

Since the maiden flight of the Children’s Air Ambulance in May 2013, we’re transported babies and children to paediatric intensive care units from over 25 cities. We’ve gone as far north as Leeds – and as far south as Cornwall.

We’ve flown well over 20,000 miles pursuing our mission to bring care to desperately ill children, and we have no intention of stopping. Here’s to our first 100 missions – and the next hundred after that.

On average, two children a day could benefit from our transfer service.
