Christmas auction raises over £6,000
Our Christmas auction has come to a brilliant conclusion this week, raising over £6,000 for the charity – enough to cover almost four missions.
The auction ran from 1st-10th December 2014, and featured Jamie Burnett, a former patient who endured gruelling injuries earlier in the year after a dumper truck crushed his lower half.
Businesses rallied around the 26 year old construction worker after his employer, bmJV, asked for donations for a special Christmas auction to raise money for the air ambulance that saved his life.
The auction featured prizes like a 35” widescreen TV, tickets to CATS at the London Palladium, and hospitality tickets for the Six Nations England v Italy match in 2015.
Our top prize sold for an amazing £600. Thank you to everyone who took part – and a big congratulations to all the winners.
