Falck Safety Services raise over £5k
At the start of 2014, Falck Safety Services based in Teesside, Middlesbrough, chose the Children’s Air Ambulance as their new charity of the year.
The team spent the year fundraising and taking part in activities such fun runs, bake sales and raffles and their flagship fundraiser – the heli dunk.
Falck Safety Services delivers realistic training in a safe and controlled environment using the most recent equipment and simulators, and has strong industry expertise servicing the global oil and gas, shipping, renewable energy, military and aviation industries.
On 8th February 2015 Sophie Stevens, national partnerships manager for the Children’s Air Ambulance travelled to the Falck site in Teesside to accept a cheque for an incredible £5272.74 and took a tour of the facilities.
Sophie commented “It was great to meet the team at Falck and thank them in person for all their hard work in raising such a fantastic sum of money. During the tour I got to see the training pool and helicopter simulator, which took a break from its important safety training to host the sponsored heli dunk.”
